This museum is all about the people of Salta, Argentina. The challenge was to capture who the people of Salta are—their lives, origins, culture, work, and traditions—all within a single museum. Rather than creating a space for distant admiration, we wanted visitors to actively engage and challenge their own preconceptions about the locals. Housed in the historic Leguizamón mansion, Explora Salta invites visitors to discover the province through its human side. Each room introduces a fresh perspective, debunking myths and building narratives grounded in the voices of the locals themselves. Every room features interactive technology, games, films, projection mapping, and other media that bring countless individual stories to life.
