The Lola Mora Cultural Center presented us with one of the most demanding challenges in our history: installing a complete museographic and interactive experience inside a building designed by César Pelli. The architecture wasn't just a backdrop—it was a presence we had to respect, integrate, and ultimately, bring to life. The centerpiece is a videomapping show projected onto sculpted blocks of marble: Lola Mora's signature medium. Across this surface, allegorical imagery of her life and work unfolds in a choreography of light and stone that inhabits the space rather than competing with it. It wasn't just an aesthetic choice; it was a way to honor the sculptor's language from within her own medium. The center is completed by an immersive room and multiple interactive exhibits designed to connect visitors with both Lola Mora herself and the culture and identity of Jujuy province. Every element was calibrated so that the narrative weight of the content matches the emotional depth of the space. The result is an experience where the architecture, the history, and the technology speak with a single voice.
